LeagueThe Glasgow Lions Touch Rugby Club were spawned in the West End pub Uisge Beatha during the summer of 2007. We are more than just a sports team, we are a club where all are welcome. During the last 3 years we have helped the development of the sport in Glasgow through the introduction of touch to approximately 30-40 new players each season.
Everyone is welcome to attend our free weekly training sessions, regardless of experience or ability. We train & play in tournaments all year round, regardless of the weather! Why do we do it...for the love of touch! Its a relatively new sport to Scotland and we want to spread the word - most of our players have never played before joining the Lions. Our training is carried out in a fun and informal setting, with the emphasis on getting fit, improving skills and making friends.
