Glasgow Touch 2010

The start of the 2010 touch season is fast approaching, and so the following is an update of what to expect from the months ahead.

Glasgow Touch League

The Glasgow Touch Association will be running a Summer league from May-July. Entry will be open to Mixed, Mens, and Womens teams with experience ranging from complete beginners, right up to those teams incorporating some of Glasgow's very own Scotland representatives. Further details and exact dates will be made available on the website over the coming weeks, however if you'd like to be contacted with registration details when entries are being accepted please email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Glasgow Green Social Touch

Over the past few years Glasgow Green has become the home of social touch in Glasgow, with participation directly reflecting the weather. If you're interested in getting involved, fancy a run around in the fresh air, are looking to meet some new friends, and even find a team for the league then these social sessions are the ideal opportunity to do so. The sessions will start the first or second week in April after the clocks change and will be supported by referees and coaches to help organise. More details to follow.

European Championships 2010 - Bristol, 22-25 July

Last year Glasgow played host to the Home Nations, and in 2010 the major international event will be the European Championships in Bristol. The number of Glasgow based players involved in the Scotland squads continues to rise, and hopefully a large number will be selected to represent Scotland at the highest standard touch event this side of the equator.
